Harrison is Ready. Are You?
Alright, I guess we're ready to start our EU e-book club. Harrison came by my house to let me know that he was very flattered that we were starting with the Han Solo trilogy. Shortly after he posed for this picture, I attacked him and following an un-welcomed visit by my local police department, it looks like I'll have a good 5-10 to dedicate to this book club! HaHa! Just kidding, but it would be totally worth it.
So, pick up your books if you got 'em and get to reading. Remember, we're starting with the Han Solo Trilogy and the first book is called "Paradise Snare". Feel free to comment on this post with anything that you come across and want to share. Even if you aren't reading along, but have read this book - please, chime in!
Next Sunday, we'll have another post to keep track of our progress. Oh, and I guess we still have to work out our "Han/Leia" fan quotient rating system that we talked about. Wow, I may have to quit my day job....
FYI: for those overachievers out there, our next book will be the novelization of Episode IV, A New Hope. Also available for Amazon's 4-for-3 deal (and no, Amazon is not underwriting this blog - just making an observation to help you guys save $$).
So now, go forth and read and remember..."You have taken your first step into a larger world."

holy crap. how am I supposed to get up from my computer and go locate this book on my shelf and read all about whatshername when I'm just sitting here with my jaw in my lap staring at this picture?
ReplyDeleteOK breathing again now. sigh.
You ladies need to calm down and leave the drooling to us single ladies.
ReplyDeleteOh, c'mon, I'm not even allowed to drool? Can I sigh wistfully, at least?
ReplyDeleteOk, ok. You can sigh wistfully AND drool. Really it's pretty pointless since the chances of any of us, well, having a chance are quite possibly less than 0%. I do know someone who once saw him in a coffee shop, but that's as close as I've come :)
